The fund aims to achieve significant capital appreciation over the long term. It primarily allocates its investments to a diverse portfolio of common stocks issued by U.S. companies, specifically those with small to medium market capitalizations. Typically, at least 80% of its total net assets are committed to these small and mid-cap firms. For the purpose of this strategy, a small- to mid-capitalization company is defined as one whose market value, at the time of purchase, falls between the smallest constituent of the Russell 2500® Value Index and the greater of either $5 billion or the market capitalization of the largest company within that same index.
