How to use the screener

1

Start with a preset

The buttons under the toolbar load ready-made screens — undervalued quality, dividend payers, volume surges, stocks near their 52-week high. Each one sets the filters, signals and sort order for you, and everything stays editable afterwards.

2

Refine, then choose your columns

Open Filters to set ranges on any of the 100+ metrics, and use Columns to show exactly the data you want to compare. Any metric you filter on is added as a column automatically, so you can see why each company qualified.

3

Confirm before you act

A screener produces a shortlist, not a recommendation. Open each symbol to read its ST Score breakdown, recent analyst actions and news before making a decision, and remember that grades are relative to sector peers.

Frequently asked questions

What is a stock screener?
A stock screener is a filter you point at the whole market. Instead of scrolling through thousands of tickers, you set the conditions that matter to you — a valuation range, a minimum dividend yield, a profitability grade, a price sitting near its 52-week high — and the screener returns only the companies that meet every condition at once.
What is the ST Score?
The ST Score is a single 0–100 rating that blends the five factor grades: valuation, growth, profitability, momentum and revisions. A higher score means the company looks stronger across those areas at the same time, so sorting by ST Score is a fast way to surface broadly healthy names before you dig into a specific metric.
How do the factor grades work?
Each grade from A+ down to F is relative, not absolute. A company is compared with its sector peers on the underlying metrics, then placed on that curve. A 'B' in valuation means the stock is cheaper than most of its sector, not that it is cheap in isolation — which is why grades from different sectors are best compared with a little care.
What are the Signals filters?
Signals sit on top of the fundamental filters and narrow the list using live activity: recent analyst upgrades or downgrades, buy-rated consensus, insider buying or selling, and stocks in the news. They are applied after your other filters, so you can ask for something like profitable, cheap companies that analysts have just upgraded.
Can I save or export my results?
Every filter, column choice, sort order and page is stored in the page's web address, so bookmarking or sharing the link reproduces exactly the same screen. Premium members can also export the visible page to CSV using the Export button in the toolbar.
How often is the data updated?
Fundamentals, grades and ST Scores refresh with each data run and the as-of date is shown under the page title. Prices and the live signals are pulled when you load the screen, so use the refresh control at the bottom of the table if you have had the page open for a while.
