The fund maintains an ultra-short duration profile, typically two years or less, to help reduce interest rate sensitivity. The portfolio may include various types of municipal obligations such as general obligation and revenue bonds, variable- and floating-rate issues, and tender option bonds. Up to 20% of assets may be allocated to below-investment-grade securities, while the fund may also invest in taxable fixed income if market conditions warrant it. The adviser uses sector allocation, credit analysis, and duration management to evaluate opportunities and balance income potential with risk. ESG factors may be considered as part of the research process. The ETF launched through a mutual fund conversion. The abrdn Intermediate Municipal Income Fund converted to AMUN with $29.9 million in assets.
